Information Laundering

“Information Laundering” is a term that comes from the Centre’s report that analyses how false or deceitful information is legitimised through a network of intermediaries that gradually apply a set of techniques in order to distort it and obscure the original source. We invite you to a discussion on the opportunities and challenges that such research poses and what lessons we can identify from the case studies regarding hostile influence in the Nordic Baltic region. Speakers: Belén Carrasco Rodríguez, Intelligence Analyst, Neon Century, and author of reports on Information Laundering Nika Aleksejeva, Digital Forensics Researcher, Atlantic Council’s DRFLab Moderated by Nora Nora Biteniece, Strategic Communications Consultant.
