Military Medicine, COVID-19 and the Changing Scope of Operations

The Canadian Institute for Military and Veteran Health Research (CIMVHR), which was co-founded by RMC and Queen’s and is now a network of 46 universities across Canada, is conducting a series of virtual symposia on military, Veteran and family health. The first two symposia were held on October 1st and 8th, and the full presentations are now available online:

- Military Medicine, COVID-19 and the Changing Scope of Operations included a presentation from Joanne Langley, MD, MSc, the COVID-19 vaccine lead from Dalhousie University, is available at: https://symposium-series.cimvhr.ca/en/military-medicine

- Sex and Gender was chaired by Jacqueline O’Neill, Ambassador for Women, Peace and Security. This symposium presented tools to researchers on how to address sex and gender during research, was presented by Dr. Maya Eichler, a Canadian expert in the field and Research Chair at Mount Saint Vincent University, is available at: https://symposium-series.cimvhr.ca/en/sex-gender
